Amy chose massage therapy as a career to assist with pain and stress management while inspiring and promoting wellness. In practice since 2000, Amy was certified through Minneapolis School of Massage and Bodyworks Sports and Deep Tissue program, then went on to become certified in Neuromuscular Therapy through Joanie Holst and the NMT Center. Amy is exceptionally invested in each of her clients; thoughtfully tailoring each session to suit the individual’s specific needs. Her approach is a careful blend of problem solving and pampering, ensuring your comfort is her top priority. With the understanding that the human body possesses an enormous, astonishing, and persistent capacity to heal itself, Amy seeks to facilitate this process by providing favorable conditions for repair and renewal. Massage isn’t just a job, it’s her passion, and she hopes that intent shows through her craft.
“My goal is to assist in facilitating the body’s own natural powers to heal itself. Massage has been a powerful tool in aiding in and managing my own pain and tension, and I am grateful to be able to bring relief and comfort to my clients. I love giving massage almost as much as receiving them! As busy as I get with the administrative aspects of owning a business, once I’m in a session, the stress of the day just falls away, it’s truly the best part of my day!” ~ Amy Ritter
Amy began calling upon trusted quality bodyworkers to contract for her as demand increased for larger events. Our Selah team has brought relief and relaxation to many of Minnesota’s finest companies, concert venues and retreat centers.
When not working, you can find Amy on the tennis court, kayaking the beautiful sky blue waters of Minnesota, or wandering with her pup, always in the lifelong pursuit of learning.
